Southern California saw record-breaking precipitation during the winter months of 2023. I was curious about the impacts of the precipitation on river flow around the state, and analyzed publicly available discharge data from the USGS Daily Water Data for the Nation tool. I wrote about the results in a blog post and spoke to journalist Jack Lee from the SF Chronicle about the historic river discharge across the state
